Homeschooling is the ideal choice for families seeking a protected learning environment, personalised study paces, or who want to closely follow their children's educational growth. The parental school we offer was created as an alternative to traditional education for families who choose home education (homeschooling), as provided for under Italian law. The project supports parents in designing a personalised learning pathway, providing a protected learning environment, structured subject materials and periodic monitoring of progress. The goal is to make the parental choice sustainable for families, without academic or social isolation for students.
Losing a school year does not mean giving up — it means finding a better path. At our Institute we offer intensive, personalised pathways to recover one or more school years in a single year. Teachers plan study starting from the student's real gaps, optimising time and reducing exam stress. The programme covers the full curriculum of the chosen track (academic, technical or vocational secondary schools), ensuring solid and thorough preparation.
June conditional promotions (so-called "learning debts") can compromise a student's future school path if not addressed with the right method. In Livorno we run recovery courses, both one-to-one and in small groups, focused on the topics covered by the assessment. Our teachers analyse the learning-debt report issued by the school and prepare the student with practical exercises and exam simulations.
If a student realises they chose the wrong secondary school track (for example moving from an academic lyceum to a technical institute, or vice versa), the integrative exam is the legal tool to change pathway without repeating the year. In Livorno we help students prepare the "bridging subjects" — disciplines present in the new track but never studied in the previous one. We optimise study by focusing only on the essential parts of the programme to close the gap quickly.
To overcome a poor grade, improve your average or rebuild self-confidence, our Livorno campus offers private lessons and tutoring for primary, middle and secondary school students. We cover all subjects (humanities, sciences and languages) with teachers specialised in one-to-one teaching. We do not simply do homework together: we teach an effective study method that makes the student independent and confident in classroom assessments.
